Texas Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty
Brazos Valley Chapter

The Brazos Valley chapter of the Texas Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty works to increase public opposition to death penalty in the Brazos Valley.

Vigils

Public vigils are held to protest each execution. The vigils are held at 5:30 p.m. at the small Public Park at "Protest Park" at the corner of Texas Avenue and Walton Drive (across from entrance to TAMU). Contact us for more information. A list of pending executions can be accessed at http://www.tdcj.state.tx.us/stat/scheduledexecutions.htm

Death Penalty Listservs

TCADP-BV maintains two electronic mail distribution lists through which participants can stay informed of ongoingactivities, receive action alerts, share information about pending executions, organize letter- writing campaigns, and so on.

Facts about the Death Penalty

Much of the support for the death penalty is based on myth, not fact. Get the facts. Our 6 Facts Flyer is available in html form , or as a PDF suitable for printing and sharing with your friends.
